Work

360 photography for National Grid

National Grid commissioned 360 photography of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, before and after its overhead power lines were buried. We made the “before” record: the landscape as it was, ahead of the work.

The project

National Grid set out to bury overhead power lines in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to protect the landscape while keeping the region’s power supply reliable.

What we did

National Grid commissioned us to document the area in 360, before and after the work. In October and November 2021 we photographed the landscape as it was before work began: a record for stakeholders and the public, and a baseline to compare with once the lines are buried and the land restored.
